No you will have to convert to DEX before going to a dex firmware but you can install 4.46 Rebug Rex and convert to DEX since you have toggleQA.pkg and your eid root.

Thanks for the info I will download that and look for vid to switch to dex I appreciate the reply as I am kinda a noob at this. It's crazy that I know a good bit about I T and yet so little about modding

No prob bro. But since you are new to the PS3 CFW scene I recommend to stay on CEX so you can catch a feel on how CFW works. You can also mod on CEX with CCAPI. The best CEX CFWs IMO are 4.46.1 Rebug REX and 4.50 Rogero you can get online on both CFWs by installing SEN Enabler. But if you still want to convert to DEX follow this video:
