Post: PS3 File System Corrupted

Hey Guys,
Today when i was using my jailbroken ps3 running on 4.46 Rebug DEX, i clicked on the exit option on PSNINJA so i could sign online but it randomly turned off and when i went to turn it back on i get an error message on load up saying "The file system on the system storage is corrupted and will be restored." and i have no option but to click [X] or to just leave the ps3 off, this is the first time i have ever had this error message and I'm not sure what it means or what it will do if i click yes, does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the error? I really do not want to lose the jailbreak on the console.

I think it just rebuilds your database meaning you won't lose your firmware, it will just fix corrupted files.

Do you recommend to click the [X] button and hope for the best?
I have been reading over multiple forums and have seen that some people said it doesn't delete anything and it works fine but also saw that some people said they have had there complete system formatted and restored due to it.

This happens when your ps3 turns off un-noramaly because it froze or something. However You can press O (back) and bypass this check its optional..

Unfortunately there's no [O] button to press, only [X] button is the option, I have never seen this error before and don't know what to do..
o? I have an option [O], If the only option is [X] then go for it mate.
