(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I haven't been on the hacking scene since about 2009/10 when 3.55 first came out, I updated my system as a normal user would without realizing the consequences assuming hackers would just figure out a new way to hack the ps3 just like happens with the iOS devices.


Anyway I just bought a broken ps3 attempting to jailbreak it, before I go on a tangent my question is why can't these ps3s be jailbroken on newer FW, I never understood why it wasn't possible without an e3 flasher if they figured out the encryption keys for the systems?

Sony changed their keys to much harder ones after that update.

and also FYI I wasnt talking about the encryption itself I was talking about the passcode to allow you to get in, with an expensive ASIIC chip its definitely possible to crack the passcode.
