Hi everyone,
I'm having some trouble installing REBUG 4.46.1 D-REX on my 3.55 CFW PS3. The problem I'm having is that when I try to install Firmware though the XMB ("System Update") My whole PS3 freezes and I have to restart (It has done this Multiple times). I have also tried installing though the Recovery Menu and I'm getting the "Data is Corrupt" error message.
does this mean i have to install the ’999′ DOWNGRADER or something?

you need to be on dex before you can go on d-rex lmao.

what cfw are you on right now?

It's a Firmware to bypass the RSOD but i'm pretty sure it's DEX 3.55 (has the debug settings)

well try toggling qa if you don't have it and are you a 3.55 dex downgrade firmware or a 3.55 cfw

Not completely sure because a friend of mine sent it to me and said to install it so I can bypass the RSOD and fix my RSOD but now it's fixed and i'm now quite sure where to go from here..

well im off to bed it is 2 am and here is some stuff you could try.

-Try updating through recovery but format your usb to FAT32 and safe eject it and put it in your ps3 when it is off then go to recovery

-Toggle qa if it isn't on your ps3 then try installing a 3.55 dex cfw either way

all i can think of atm im to tired.
