But to answer your question, it really just depends on what you are wanting to do with your console bro. I have a console with DEX on it and one with CEX. I use the CEX one more but that is just a personal preference. If you are just starting out in the CFW world, let me suggest you to go to CEX to start with. its not really easier, its just as of now you can run dam near any rtm tool that you want on CEX and dont have to go through the process of swapping out you eboot in order to rtm. CEX you can use original.

i decided to go with 4.55 rogero cex cfe what homebrew apps do i need

I use the following bro:

- a 4.60 Spoof (found in PS3 Cheats and Mods Section... Make sure compatible with 4.55 CEx)
- Multiman (4.55 Cex)
- PSNPatch (2.2 I believe.... But whatever the newest is )
- Control Console 2.50 (it's a sticky thread in the ps3 cheats and mods section)

Really those are the only 4 that I use on my CEx console.
