If your not on custom firmware then you can't play burnt games at all. If your on CFW Copy the game to your flash drive like this
USB>GAMES>The Game You Want To Copy>Game Contents

Use Multiman to select the game and on your XMB launch the game form app_home/PS3_GAME

For some reason you can't do this with black ops 1 or at least I can't I need to have a disc inserted to launch my bo1 backup.
If your running it off an external device then select BD Mirror and External in ur Multiman Game settings.
