Later, I've was trying to find out about what the difference between CEX and DEX was. Then I found out that I got a DEX ps3. I really just want to understand more about how to get online and mod WaW for a jailbreak patch. I know how to spoof although I havent seen a DEX spoofer for 4.60, so I wanted to know how I can get online and start modding online zombies and whatnot. I'm not really interested in emulators or playing backups now. I'm just starting at this so I'm a noob, I admit it. Any help would be appreciated! I'm not sure what to do to get on a higher cfw like 4.55 rogero or something so yeah that might be an issue.
What packages will I need? Do I have to somehow upgrade my CFW, but I don't know how.And download links are good too.

I'm guessing you jailbroke your 3.55 with KMEAW.
- CEX is user
- DEX is developer
After switching to DEX, you can get 4.46.1 Rebug D-REX.
Then, you can install the 4.60 Ps3GuNz/HiJaM Spoofer and sign in.
You can transfer w@w patches with FTP:FileZilla/blackb0x/comgenies/etc.

So I jailbroke my 3.55 with Rebug but when I checked if I was DEX or CEX it said DEX does that mean I can still get to 4.46 Rebug?

You can't jailbreak a 3.55 'with rebug' than somehow be on DEX.. You must have bought a pre-jailbroken console. And since you didn't provide any real information that's accurate or even possible, no. I doubt you can get to 4.46.1.
