(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So my ps3 is on 4.46 DEX CFW and yesterday i was playing on the system normally, everything was fine. Until my game froze and my screen went all red and pixolated. i didnt know what was going on, so i hit the switch in the back to turn it off. i turned it back on, thinking it would boot up like normal and i can go back to playing my Call Of Duty. But it didnt, the system was on like i turned it on but i saw no picture. On my tv it would say no signal when my ps3 is off, but it was on and there was no signal. By now im freaking the fuck out, i invested too much money into my ps3 for it to all go to waste :(. So i unplugged my HDMI cord and plugged it back in, stiil no signal. So i went to the process of putting my ps3 in recovery mode, and my ps3 responded and it went into recovery mode. But still no signal. So i went to youtube and looked around and i found something that suggested it mite not be my ps3 but just my HDMI. So i turned my ps3 back off and i went to the process of switching it back to av and i took out my HDMI cord out of my ps3 completely and still no signal. So i called sony support and they recommended i try switching tv's and cords. And i did it but still no signal, i feel that my ps3 works fine, its coming on and responding to me but no picture on my tv or any of my other tv's. So i Skyped some buddies and looked on google, and i got like two different conclusions either my Graphics Card is Fried or my sawder was not sawed down correctly or something. i dont know what to do and im very frustrated. Im looking online for a computer shop or on criegs list for a playstation repair shop or something in my area. If you have any info to my problem please comment. i would greatly appreciated Smile

I had a similar problem. My ps3 kept freezing and like a dumbass I kept restarting it and playing. Finally, it stopped booting. It sounded like it wanted to start, but never did. I took it to a repair shop and they said my ps3 got so hot one of the chips melted completely off. Their advice was if they soldered it back on, it may have damaged other components. Take it to a repair shop. Good luck bro!

Sounds like glod to me.. Does the hdd amber light flash & is there any output from usb slots? Try charging a controller.

If there's no hdd activity or usb output then i think its probably glod.Get the mobo reballed
