Reinstall your Custom Firmware, I was having the same problem not too long ago and your Custom Firmware probably had a problem in the midst of it being installed. So try that and get back at me if it's still not working for you.

No, the Firmware you're on shouldn't matter. All you need to do is reinstall that very same Custom Firmware to your PS3 and it will configure all of the Custom Firmware settings and such and it may even fix your FTP problem. It fixed mine.

Ok so I downgraded to 3.55 & then reinstalled 4.60. Tried connecting using FileZilla & FlashFXP & still no luck. Most of the other sub directories such as game & games work but not home. Any other ideas? Appreciate your help btw.

Hmmm. Oh, make sure that the FTP is activated on your HomeBrew whenever you FTP! You MUST be on some sort of FTP Client HomeBrew Application while trying to connect via FileZilla or an FTP Client. So whenever you're trying to connect, make sure you're currently on something like MultiMan or ITA Manager.

Got it to work by connecting with ITA manager. I guess my ps3 doesn't like multiman. Thanks for all your help. Time to get my plats & avatars.😂
