(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); my ps3 has been very slow on opening messages and loading my friends list also sometimes in a game it freezes for like 3 seconds and comes back i'm getting very frustrated because i used to have a fast ps3 whenever it freezes we all get a message that the hdd may be corrupt and i ignore it and press o could it be because i dont let it do its thing? if i do it will it affect the jailbreak? the guy i bought it from told me not to do it because some users have gotten stuck int hat screen but i hate that its so slow how can i fix this?

Try going into recovery mode and then selecting options, restore file system and rebuild data base this worked for me once over in the end I changed my ps3 hard drive
