Nope, There is always a change of getting banned going online not playing backup games.

You wont get banned for playing a backup but bo2 bans really quick if you mod or change stats

When you backup games on cd and play it from. Multiman when you're (signed in) chances are you will be console banned. But launch the game anonymously you can still get banned but chances are very slim.

A simple answer to this is yes there is a chance of getting banned because I assume you will be wanting to go online.

Online = chance of ban (how much of a chance depends on what your doing)
Offline = No ban

It's that simple.

The more you sign in online the more chance you get of being banned if you don't look out for what your doing. Yes in the end you will probably be banned but as to how long it takes well that is down to you and the developers of whatever game your playing.
