Ccapi is installed on the ps3 and on the laptop. I have a customer that can't connect his ps3 with ccapi. He brought it over to me and I connected my network on his ps3 and put the new ip on ccapi on the laptop and connected right away. He says he adds a new ip on ccapi and connects to his network to get his ip. But when he enters it and tries to hit connect it says it can't connect to his ps3. I believe it has to do something with his network but I'm not sure how to fix it. Any help?

Not to sound rude or anything, but if he's your "customer" shouldn't you know how to properly do and fix errors that happen while you're "selling" said service?

Anyways. Make sure;

PC/Laptop is connected to the same network as the ps3, also is using the same connecting method. If the pc/laptop is using wifi, make sure the ps3 is also on wifi.

I get your point I fixed an issue he had that he couldn't sign up or use an existing account it kept telling him "the connection to the server timed out" I fixed that for him. But how can I fix this issue if he's doing everything right? Same ip means their both connected to the same network, common sense. He connected it already but I had him connect a Ethernet cable from his ps3 to his lap top and he entered the new ip it have him and it worked. But for now he can't connect to ccapi from using wireless network.

For wireless settings on ps3, the debug setting has to be on Dual Settings instead of the usual Single.
