After installing this FW I tried to make this step to mod with TMAPI by changing from LV2 COBRA to CEX. But I don't have this opportunity! Everytime when I go to "CEX/DEX" it says: "Install REBUG REX EDITION to acces these functions" but I'm on a REX FW!

I Just want to install this Firmware (REX) but can't get it to work.

Another thing that makes me amazed is that my System Informations look like this. (I heard that it is normal on ITA DEX)

So thats it... Does some one has a solution or I'm stuck on ITA now? SO I can only install ITA FWs?
Btw: I also have these Files from CEX <-> DEX idk if they are helpful at the moment but anyway.

SO You were on ITA 4.50, then Installed a Rebug Cobra DEX Mix, But you're trying to install a CEX BASED Rebug 4.53 onto a DEX based firmware. You see the problem right? You cannot install a CEX FW over a DEX FW, The reason why you can NEVER accidently Update to OFW on DEX. But never Mind that, you have to first convert to cex Before you can install a cex based FW.

Oh, so the NORMAL REX is for CEX and D-REX for DEX Consoles?
I just want to use TMAPI. In the second link was a tutorial to change from Cobra Mode to DEX Mode but it doesn't load up in the Rebug Manager. I also can't change to CEX back. I thought I can do it with a D-REX Firnware.

my Recommendation? Go back to ITA or Go to a Rebug DEX FW.

You will end up bricking your PS3 trying to install a CEX based FW over the top of a DEX :p

Isn't the latest version of Rebug Toolbox like 2.02?

I bricked my PS3 about 2 years ago, doing this exact thing :p actually i even posted a thread, it gave me RSOD.

Thanks buddy! That was the solution! Now I can switch between CEX / DEX in the LV2 Kernel!
