(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok guys I have been trying with this for a while now but have not managed to find anything solid as of yet.

I have been using netcheat but with it being a PSN game I have had to use CCAPI for both the debugger and netcheat because obviously PSN games can't be booted from a debug eboot.

Don't get me wrong I have the ranges all down but when I am looking for certain values such as the health, money, points etc I find roughly 300k+ results.

So instead of using a losing a heart or get some more money to find the new value and the offset which does not work because the results all go when looking for the new value I try with the changed/unchanged approach which does leave results but even when I manage to get down to 10 or under and modify the end values it either crashes the game which means I have to yank the power or simply does nothing.

So my question is a simple one. Is there any easier way to find offsets for a game in general.

Tried to look down the IDA route and that didn't really give any help into this either as I couldn't find anything to do with the parts I was looking for.

Also I have been checking other games for offsets (disc based) and managed to find some offsets that have been published publicly just to test things out first.

Well to be honest it was for Spelunky I was kinda hoping to learn about finding offsets for a game that is fun but also entertaining. Mainly something that was not COD lol.

Certain games have values that are nowhere close to what you see onscreen when you search for them. I'd recommend that if directly searching for the values brings up no results, try searching initially for a unknown value and then work from narrowing down the results. With CCAPI this might take a while if you are doing it on a CEX PS3, so converting to DEX (even temporarily) will help speed up find the offsets in addition to having the ability to pausing the game while searching.
