Post: Help with CID change.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys I recently purchased a new CID for my ps3 that was banned a while back. I used IRISMAN to change the old CID to the new. Once that was done I turned off my internet before loading psn patch. I chose the option to spoof both psid and CID as well as disable cfw, which was option X. As I was creating an existing account I got a message from Sony saying that my console is banned. My account is not banned as i use all the time in my other ps3 upstairs. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.

I was going to say use CCAPI? But assuming you're on 4.65, CCAPI is not supported.

I'm on 4.65 so ps3ita didn't work as well as CCAPI. I just edited the cfg file for psn patch and it worked like a charm.

Why you are using irisman and psnpatch?

The reason i think you forgot to edit the psnpatch config file with your new CID, it most be on the roo of usb0 named "psnpatch.cfg"

if you don't have one then copy the below code and paste it in a text then save it as "psnpatch.cfg":

# PSNPatch Configuration File. Made at run-time.

# Spoofs for IDPS & PSID
idps=00000001008500000000000000000000
psid=00000000000000000000000000000000

idps = your new CID.
psid = PSID leave 0's if you don't have one.

put it on the root of you usb0 then start psnpatch and click square then press circle to exit, if you press X it'll change it and disable syscalls.

I used IRISMAN because a video on YouTube where a guy changed his CID with that program. After learning that it didn't work for me, I then tried to edit the cfg file on my USB stick for psn patch to recognize my new CID.
