I'm under the impression that you only have to update the e3 flasher once.
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Well I have only ever updated mine once and I have done about 20 ps3 downgrades without any issues.

sounds good ill go straight to backin up nor then see how dat goes. just noticed aswell da clip cable touchin a lot on way to the flasher wod that matter? the nor chip was opposite way on mb so had to angle cable dif to usual
