Basically, I have an PS3 which is currently at 3.41 or 3.55 CFW not sure which one as I
haven't used the console for few years due to YLOD. But i'm getting it fixed as of writing this.
What do I need to do to get this PS3 back up and running on a new CFW so I can start modding/run homebrew
applications. I want to start modding CoD series, GTA V.

If this thread is in the wrong section, could a Mod move it to the right one please.

Where do I get the CFW from? Also i've heard you need other pkgs such as MultiMan
