(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So yesterday I found a method to unbrick the ps3, as mine got bricked by a stupidity of mine. This worked for me and I own a Slim console, might not work for you, but you'll never know if you don't try Let's start with the tut:

1)First of all better do a backup of your HDD to your computer so you keep your data and make sure that there isn't any game inside the PS3 before you proceed to the next step (bad stuff might happen to your disc).

2)Start the console in Safe Mode (not my video but credit to the producer )

3)Connect your controller with a usb cable and chose the 5th option - Restore PS3 System - then proceed. You can try reinstall your FW but it is most likely that your PS3 will freeze when you select that option. This will take some time (depending on the ammount of stuff that you have installed on your console). Mine was pretty quick, but that's because I only had a small game installed and a couple savedatas.

4)Set up the console as it will be requested and that's it!
