After, I hav downloaded a game on my pc, what are the steps i need to take to put it on a usb and play it on my ps3 or transfer it onto my ps3 harddrive?

If you have downloaded the game than you must make a folder with the name GAMES, and then you gone copy that game that you have downloaded in to that folder and then you gone go to multiman and than game settings and set than on (bd mirror and internal if you play it from hdd)
