It's mandatory for all cex consoles as it reads it as "retail" still. If your 4.46 Rebug is set up for DEX, then you don't need a spoof; unless you're paranoid that Sony monitors what firmware you're going online with.

i remember sony fixing the DEX online without a spoof thing... guess its history now
