(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello guys I recently jailbreaked my ps3 with the E3 flasher
It was running OFW 4.60 , I downgraded to 3.55 to install rogero 4.55

Thing is, today I wanted to put my old hdd with 40gigs left on my ps3 to install far cry 4 (that I bought)

It asked me for an install? (Plug in usb screen) so I said yes. When the update was finished, I was in ofw 4.46.

I paniced, i put back the other hdd and.... ofw 4.46

Does this mean I have to reinstall the e3 flasher again? Downgrade all over again?

People, don't make the same mistake as me , and if anybody knows, how do you correctly change your hdd without your jailbreak flying away?

Thanks

I had qa flagged it when doing the jailbreak steps. I still have multiman and ccapi and all that stuff but no install package files.

Do I install 3.55 ofw or cfw?

Yes, when you install OFW over you CFW you lose the Jail Break and have to do it again. It asked you to install because the HD was used under a newer firmware than you had installed.

If you want to use both hard drives you have two choices. Use a CFW that is at least 4.60 so it can read you old hard drive, or format the old hard drive so it works with whatever CFW you put on it (latter is probably best choice).

On another note why did you remove the E3 flasher?

I removed it because It was annoying to have the hdd on external. It was a mistake. Thanks.
