I don't really use psnpatch to go online myself, but I would think it's backwards compatible. However, it could also be the complete opposite by being firmware specific, so I'd be on the safe side & try the 4.55 version, considering it's designed for 4.55 custom firmwares.

Again, I know nothing about psnpatch. I've never used it & I go online all the time, never been banned. :p
