Post: a few questions.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey,

I'm sunniebeta and I am new on this forum and new into modding.

I have a few questions.
So, first, I have a ps3 Super Slim, I know I can't jailbreak it, but would a E3 flasher work to a previous firmware that the Super Slim had, like 4.60?

Second, I want to purchase a Cobra ODE. But is the soldering hard? I have a pretty shitty solderin iron, one that just heats up and can't be adjusted. I've soldered some things before, but it didn't go well, but it still went fine though. But that was on something that is like $5. I don't want to mess up on my ps3.

And as last, would I be able to mod games with a Cobra ODE? I've heard it doesn't support CCAPI, but I read somewhere that the last version does. Also, some mods require to replace a eboot or something, from what I know this could be done with Multiman. Would this also work with a Cobra ODE?

One
At least I can fight
highly recommend converting to a dex firmware Smile

as for eboots, you just need to use any homebrew with a ftp server ex: ita manager, rebug toolbox etc etc

I have a Super Slim, which I can't jailbreak.

Could I just convert to a dex firmware with a Cobra ODE?

Cobra Ode stands for - Cobra Optical Drive Emulator. So the answer to your question is no you cannot install any costum cex/dex firmware without jailbreak.
