first id like to start off by saying. i am very new to the cfw part of ps3's, but with that being said no i am not stupid ,, i can follow directions and do. i haven't taken any unnecessary risks with the ps3 being on cfw

cech2001a which makes it "slim" model
located on a dresser with plenty room for exhaust
had 4.46 rebug till installed 4.65.2 rebug
4.65.2 rebug installed 1/13/15 which coincidentally is the day of the problem

now to the problem..

irrelevant info:
i bought a ps3 slim pretty sure cech2001a off of ebay around christmas 2014 and same day put rebug 4.46 on it and until yesterday (1/13/15) the ps3 seemed to work completely fine..


Yesterday i found out rebug 4.65.2 was out and i downloaded/installed it on the ps3---to my knowledge from reading on the forums 4.65.2 can be installed over the 4.46... correct me if im wrong??--- after which the ps3 still seemed to be working fine later into the night the ps3 turned off without warning with 3 beeps and the flashing red light afterwards.. i push the button ...obviously the red light goes solid.. i turn it back on and later it does it again.. it then sits off all night. today i try to turn it on and it does the same thing again... over and over .

my first thought. hmm maybe its rebug 4.65.2 but i cant even get the damn ps3 to stay on long enough for me to try and reinstall rebug 4.46 (which correct me if im wrong please_ i thought if q&a enabled you can downgrade to rebug 4.46 in my case)

all in all problem
ps3 slim shuts off by itself with red blinking light

update:
got the ps3 on long enough to put 4.46 rebug on it but still with the same consequences ....

ive looked on the famous "GOOGLE" but everyone is saying something else...literally

literally everything.. its pissing me off.


if anyone can shed some light on the situation that woulld be well appreciated..
