Can’t trickshot me!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi guys!
I switched two days ago from Rebug D-REX 4.46.1 to Rebug D-REX 4.65.2. Since it has also Cobra feature, I enabled it from Rebug toolbox. All ok.
I know that in Cobra is possible to run ISO games. But that's where I have problems. For example I got one game " WipEout HD/Fury " from its retail backup.
I tried both PS3ISO Tool and GENPS3ISO, I selected the main folder of the game " BCESXXXXX " and then I made the ISO. All seems ok.
I tried both to put the iso on " PS3ISO " folder of my HDD ( FAT32 ), and also on the " PS3ISO " folder of my HDD formatted to NTFS.
Both webman and multiMAN can read the game, but I can't mount it, I get an error. I don't know why? Can someone help me?

Also, a second question : is safe to play online with ISO? Thanks!

Make sure that you are in Cobra mode when you try to launch the ISO games, otherwise it won't work. Also have you tried to create an iso through multiman yet? It might not change things, but its worth a shot.

As for playing online with an ISO, There really is no proof that playing online with them is safer than conventional jb rips, especially since usually both are ran from the HDD, However the fact that the PS3 will be emulating an actual disc image rather than the extracted directory folders of the disc makes me believe that it might just be safer in some regards.

Since you are on Cobra Rebug, you should try using netserv to play games over your network if you have a fast enough connection. That way there will be no traces of the actual game files left on your PS3 HDD.

Hey, thanks for your reply!
Yeah I'm sure I'm in Cobra Mode ( enabled it from Rebug Toolbox ), so I'm going to create an ISO from multiMAN for see if it will works. Then I'll let you know.
But what is this " netserv " ? Can you tell me more about it? I've never heard of it :p

If this doesn't work, I used PowerISO and made tons of ISO files out of games. ps3 iso poweriso

If you are using the webman plugin that came with the Rebug CFW you have installed, or any newer version of webman that has been released, you may have noticed in the settings that there is a setting in the setup page that asks if you want to Scan for LAN games/videos, followed by the PS3NETSRV IP.

There are 3 entries, but you only really need to use the first one. On your PC download and run PS3NetServer from Aldo's website (You must login or register to view this content.). When you open it, it will prompt you to choose a folder to share with the PS3 along with the port which you can either leave the same or choose to your liking. So just choose a location that resembles the PS3 file structure (having GAMES / PS3ISO folders on an external HDD of your choice, or even on your PC HDD) and then activate the option in webman while having that program opened.

If everything is setup correctly and there are no firewall issues between your computer and your PS3, Webman should now be able to detect the folders and games that you decided to share and you can run them. I suggest that if you attempt this, you use a ethernet connection between your computer and PS3 to reduce game loading and lag.

Tried it, still no luck. I don't see where the problem is.. I'm using Fake BD Emu but I don't think that's a problem.
Btw, these are the errors I get :

From webMAN
- it just says " BLESXXXXX loaded " like it worked. But then in " Games ", nothing appears.

From multiMAN
- ATTENTION :
The disc image isn't a compatible PS3 ISO,
but maybe it's possible to still use it with other applications. Something like that, I'm not english sorry :p
