(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I want to use PSN patch for the first time and have some questions.

If I have CFW 4.55 Will PSN patcher make ps3 to show as 4.66 as it is the latest original firmware? Because if it is not showing it then I will get a message that I need to upgrade firmware.

do I need to change IDPS and PSID? What if I not?

I read that it should be 3 beeps when spoofing with PSN patcher. I only get 1 beep.

Thanks for your support

You need spoofer , to spoof your current firmware to the lastest firmware

You can spoof you console and PSID with PSN Patch but only if you have another working one. It doesn't change your firmware version to 4.66, however if you have a 4.66 spoof on then it will disable CFW syscalls, clear boot logs n wipe your history, mimicking OFW,

What I can only do with PSN patch then is to spoof to OFW as I don't have PSID from another console?
When I tried this it still shows 4.55 in the system settings. When trying to login I will probably get firmware update to latest?

It's not a spoofer, other then CID n PSID, go to brewology n get your 4.66 spoofer. N yes it's main function is to mimic OFW, lowering your chances of getting banned. N when you try to log in n not on a higher firmware it will prompt you to update not start it automatically

I got PSN patch also from brewology. ANd what I read was that PSN patch also disable cfw and clean history, So 4.66 spoofer is the same? OR what is different?
Or do you mean that I should use them both?

Before I flashed my ps3 I don't remember wich ofw I had. Now I am on rogero 4.55. What If I had later owf let say 4.60.
This will not look good.

ok. Now I tried to install spoofer 4.66. Now no games from multiman works. I usually in multiman choose a game and then in xbm I could start it from the disk access. Now there is only the original disk game.

What has happened?
