I am new to modding and shit, so I got someone to JB my PS3 for €70,-
I asked him to put DEX 4.5 ITA on it, now I have my PS3 and when I go to system info I see this:

So; he didn't put it on 4.5 ITA?

When I try to open a file like PS3ITA manager or other homebrew tools, I get this error code: 80010017
I can't open them.

When I try to update my PS3 to 4.5 or another CFW, I get this error code: 8002F957

What can I do now? :|

if you don't have install package file or app_home then ur ps3 is not jailbroken lol

Your best bet would be to downgrade to 3.55 then upgrade to 4.50ITA or any new CFW. If you need more help, you can PM me I'd be glad to help

I have the app_home and the install package file folders.

i feel as though i had the same problem. Make shure that your on dex, if you can't then try to install a 4.50 cex and then try dex cfw see if one installs. If your getting a problem installing the cfw like you say try to do recovery mode install, i had the same prblem on rogero because the package manager and app home werent there.

Install rebug 999 downgrader, then install rebug 3.55 after that toggle your QA and you can install every CFW that you want
