Post: Will a new HDD affect anything?

1. I was on DEX PSITA 4.50 before my HDD corrupted, will i loose my jailbreak?
2. Will it still be on DEX?
3. What will i have to do in order to get to Rebug 4.65.2 DREX?

no, fw isnt stored on HDD.

Once i get the new HDD im guessing i will be booted to Safe Mode. What fw should i install after this?

No you will not lose your firmware Smile The firmware stays in the nor/nand chip on your ps3.

If it asks for a USB device with an update.dat use the same firmware you already have on it.

Where can i find an update.dat? I have only used the PS3UPDAT.PUP.
