That means there are files too large for the FAT32 format of your external drive, the backup is fine. To play games that are split you need to copy them to the internal drive, multiMan will rejoin the split files when it copies it to the internal.

i just don't have enough space on my internal, is there any way to get around that? if not thank you for the info bro.

Rename extracted folder to pak23 & place it where the large file was like this, should be the same size

You can now play it from external.don't use any other game splitters, you only need to extract the large file.

The game will take a while to load this way thou,about 3 mins,but will save you 31gb of internal ps3 hdd space

i'm not positive on which file to do this to, you just said there will be a big file, is it a file or a folder if so is it the biggest file or folder i should be seeing, does it have a name that i should look for?
