um if you get black screen but green power light. you can try to remove hdd from ps3 plug the hdd to sata into pc and reformat drive. this worked for me when i almost bricked my console.

I updated to a cfw everything was working fine and I changed over to rebug to do a spoofer so I could get online and it froze and now my PS3 won't turn on at all i just get a black screen and the green light turns on and if I do click the green light to turn it off it don't do nothing ?

Could I remove my Hardrive put it into my other PS3? Then restore it see then put it back in

I think it's my Hardrive I just took it out now and it says writing on my screen so shall I buy a new hard drive ?
