an eboot is a file calle eboot.bin for the purpose of this explanation think of it as the executable file.
your cheat editor probably patches this executable.

to give you more info we are going to need more info.

what system software are you running, what game is it and which cheat editor?

how I find system software? ps3 tools verison 2.7.9 I wanna do various games like Dead Nation, Demon Souls, Final Fantasy 13 etc.

If you follow the video above it will tell you how to find out what System Software your on.

The first question I have to ask is are you running CFW or are you on OFW?

This will only work with CFW because you need to replace the EBOOT with the modified one.

To answer your question about what an EBOOT is in simple terms it is what makes the game start basically. Think of it like a .exe for windows but obviously it is for the PS3.

After looking at your previous posts it would appear that you seem to be on OFW and this will not work for you. If I am mistaken and you are on CFW then I will try and help as much as I can.

CFW = Custom Firmware (Jailbroken)
OFW = Official Firmware (Not Jailbroken)

The program that you have downloaded is of no use when it comes to EBOOT modifications as you need a hacked/jailbroken PS3. You can use them in game saves though so that is a plus side all you need is a resigner such as Bruteforce, PS3 Save Resigner, Xploder or Game Genie.

I would suggest Bruteforce personally as I use it and it is relatively easy to use.
