You can't jailbreak any OFW higher than 3.55. Doesn't matter if you stay or update you'll still need hardware to downgrade such as E3 Flasher. All the jailbreaks you see after 3.55 are all fake. That's why they have passwords or surveys. It's practically impossible to jailbreak after 3.55 unless on CFW.
