(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I just did my first jailbreak on ofw 4.66. First I had a successful flash, then downgraded with Rogero and then installed the 3.70 Rogero cfw. Not knowing how to work the fw and what to do next, I started installing other cfws like cobra, multiman, homebrew, and toggle qa. I then went for a spoofer called ferrox. After that, I accidentally updated to 4.70 not knowing that was psn's latest update. I don't know what happened other than I think I am still on cfw but reading 4.70 update. Now my ps3 shows an error code every time I try to reinstall any cfw's. How do I fix this? I have restored the file system, complete ps3 restore, and rebuilt the data base. Do I have to reflash my system again and if so, Will I need to go through the complete process again.

If you no longer have Install Package Files or app/home/ then you will have to reflash because you are on OFW if you cannot open any of the PKGs you installed then you are most definately on OFW and will require another Flashing

Ok. I just flashed it again. However, now I have another problem. During my process, I had a heck of a time fitting the clip. Spent about 3 hours getting it to work. Well it finally did take the update and I was about to dump the ps3 files and after about 10 seconds, the ps3 cut off. Now every time I turn the power on it cuts off with the red light flashing. After research, it looks as if it has the ylod. Is that true and how can I fix it myself? Looks like I have to heat the motherboard to resolder itself. What is the best method of performing this operation?
