i got to BO2, then it says an error code(8002D86), searched for fix on google, and one issue it say that u have to rebuld data base. then i go in recovery mode and i rebuild data base. then my ps3 freezes and then it start to restart and shit. then, i start it, then it stat overheating then i unplug it. when i start it the second time, it was normal but on the high right corner, it says: ps3 is too hot, turn it off and restart when it cool down. then i waited like 40 min, then i restart it, then i played like 20 min, i tought the problem was solved, then it says after like 20-25 min the same message as before. someone can help me?

Put thermal paste on your playstation 3.

nvm i just like turn it off, i waited like 1 hour, then it was fine but thanks anyway

I would use PS3ita Manager to increase your fan speed, if your on PS3ita. If not, then I would use Control Fan utility. Very useful. Makes your ps3 last longer.

your ps3 is overheating for a couple of reasons-----

1----your ps3 is dirty inside ----in that case you need to open it up and clean it out ---dust is a bitch and builds up
2----your thermal paste between the cpu's is probably old and dried out ----while you have it open to clean ---replace paste with artic silver 5 ---theres plenty of videos showing just what to do
3---- don't let it go to long ---it's a sign that the red light of death is on it's way
