Turned it back on to check it and it started up with the rogero emblem on it. After that I turned it back off and started it in recovery menu and performed the "rebuild database". The ps3 turned on but now I can't get any video feed. Furthermore, I have tried to reset the video type to hdmi and av mode. Still, no video but the ps3 powers on with no abnormal lights. What is going on? Also, I have started with and without original hard drive and with a fresh hard drive. Still no video.

Maybe the console has developed GLOD. Try and sync a controller to it. If it does not sync then you've got GLOD. If it does then something during the downgrade process has caused this error.

Did not dehash. Best method to fix this issue? Controller will not sync.

Ok so you received the GLOD/YLOD Brick due to not dehashing.
You need to solder a wire from the Tri State point on the mainboard to the SBE point on the E3 ribbon cable,then,patch your verified backup,flash it back to the console and re downgrade,once you downgrade successfully again remember to install QA toggle and dehash otherwise the same error will occur :-)

Try starting the system up with no hdd n wait a bit if u get screen saying soomething then you're in luck.just get ur hdd from another ps3 get the update rogero 3.55 3.7 n update it.it will probably say 9.99 but it will still work in fsm.
