Sounds like a soft brick your hdd might be corrupted. But atleast you can still boot in Recovery mode.

so its a soft brick...? if hdd is courrpt i have a spare so i can just use that?

Yea i would try that you might have to re-install the cfw you are on but see if it works worth a try.

No problem usually a brick that happens with the vsh or when spoofing is usually a soft brick you would just need to go into recovery and re-install your cfw that your on but since you said it freezes i think a formatted/new hdd should work.
