Post: I think I'm stuck...

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello

I'm on 4.65.2 rebug DEX and I have a spoofer enabled that doesn't work. So when I go to System Information, it clearly says that I'm on 4.70. But, when I want to uninstall the spoofer with SEN Enabler, it says it doesn't have access or something like that. I want to go to 4.70 rebug DEX, but because of the spoofer, I don't think I'm able to do that... My PS3 froze multiple times now, and there was a moment I couldn't even access the XMB. But, I could fix that in Recovery Mode. So I think I'm stuck on 4.65.2. My settings in Rebug Toolbox: lv2 kernel is DEX, Target Type is DEX, System Mode is normal and webMAN and Cobra are enabled. What should I do to go to 4.70 rebug?

Thanks

system mode = REBUG!!

spoofer does not stop you updating to 4.70.1

the files i gave you in the other thread You must login or register to view this content. are manual spoofer. no appication or other files are needed to spoof the firmware version.

like i said before too, you still need to patch your console id (IDPS) so its not a DEX IDPS. (if you get timeout while trying to login to psn this is the case)

all your answers/fixes are in these two threads

I would like to switch to 4.70.1, so I don't need to do all the spoofer stuff. Is it true that one of your accounts will get banned on 4.70.1? And as for the DEX IDPS, I checked it and IDPS EID0 and IDPS LV2 are the same. Do I still need to change them if I go to 4.70.1? I know I'm noob at this, thanks for the patience Smile

i got one account banned when i upgraded to 4.70.1. it wasnt my main account and it wasnt the one logged in at any time. i dont know how which account gets banned is chosen. but yes it happens.

you always need to spoof the IDPS because you are now on DEX and that assumes that one of the numbers in the IDPS will be 2 and not the country code. Real DEX consoles have a valid IDPS with a 2 in it, but because you are not a real DEX console sony never issued you with a DEX IDPS. Its simply just a case of changing the 2 in the IDPS to the correct number.

Just make sure your IDPS in LV2 doesnt have a 2 000000010082

Uninstall SEN enabler or any other patcher you have installed as this is probably disabling PSN access and the REAL VERSION SPOOFER was the files you manually copied to dev_blind.

Ok, so the EID0 IDPS can have the 2, but I have to change the 2 in the LV2 IDPS. How do I change it, and to which number? I live in Europe btw

if the IDPS has a 2 in it, it means you are trying to use a DEX IDPS. Unless sony gave you a DEX IDPS it will be invalid.

look here to understand the makeup of the IDPS

look here to understand the target id part (which we are reffering to)

my best guess is your idps should start 000000010085

You change it in the webman setup.. the part where it says "Change idps and psid in lv2 memory at system startup:"

tick the box next to IDPS and put your IDPS with the correct target id in the two boxes (its simply split in half)

previously i made a mistake... i told you to copy the LV2 to the same as EID0, which was wrong. we want to copy EID5.. but you cant see that normally. (you can in multiman and by pressing R2+O)

remember when you go online its best practice to prior disable syscalls and delete game history (R2+Triangle) to avoid possible ban.

Yes, I know that. I always use PSNPatch and PSNinja before I go online. And when I look at PSNPatch, my real IDPS has the 5 in it and the current IDPS has the 2 in it. So I need to change it to the 5 in webMAN, right? When something goes wrong, can I still undo it?

yes change it in webman its only temporary restart the ps3 and the IDPS is reset (unless webman is set to spoof it again on restarrt)

you dont need to use either psnpatch or psninja infact a lot of people i have seen complaining about being banned had these installed.

REBUG 4.65.2 / 4.70.1 comes with everything you need already and these extra apps are only going to make it easier for sony to detect you.
