(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so I have a ps3 (fat) running Ferrox CFW 4.70 can I upgrade the hdd of it with my slim ps3? (The slim ps3 is on 4.70 OFW) Will my cfw change to 4.70 ofw?

Fw is stored on HDD my friend. :p

After u change hdd in ps3, ps3 will say please install x.xx firmenware. Than u need install your last firmenware like for u ferrox 4.70...U dont lost your cfw if u Upgrade!!!

It Format Auto in ps3 after new hdd in and Start ps3

So if I insert my ps3 slim HDD (4.70 OFW) to my fat ps3 which is on 4.70 CFW I am going to lose my cfw???

Yeah, u only need reinstall your last firmenware... U DONT LOST YOUR CFW!!!

If u Upgrade hdd, ps3 will Format than, than comes msg install x.xx firmenware, than install your last firmenware. U will be fine Smile
