I was on habib 4.66. So i used the backup. It completed succesfully. Then, when i turned my ps3 on, it wouldn't do anything. this happened before. so i launched recovery mode and i realized the backup was corrupted or bad. So i tried restore file system. Then it got completely stuck on preparing...please wait. And when i try system update, MY PS# JUST CRASHES LIKE NOTHING. Please help me guys, if i get this fixed, i wont have any more problems. I really dont want to restore ps3 system as i have wanted a jailbroken ps3 for SO LONG!

Alright, so first things first, this is in the wrong section. Post this thread to the PS3 Questions and Support section and you'll get more replies. Second, I would recommend Formatting and cleaning out your HDD and then inserting it in again and installing the 4.65.2 REX CFW right away. So, you basically used a backup of a spoofer from a different firmware that you were currently on? That's the explanation to everything bro. You can't do that.
