do i need to check every pup file for corruption? :-/ TOTALLY CONFUSED please help me get off 4.55 and on a better cfw

Okay. Go to Google.com and search up Rebug 4.70.01 REX (CEX) basically and download the file. Make a PS3 folder on your USB and another folder inside that called UPDATE. InsideUPDATE, put the rebug file you downloaded and make sure it's renamed to PS3UPDAT.PUP. Put the USB into the right slot of your PS3 and update it. You can basically install it directly since you're on a CEX firmware already.

He doesn't necessarily need to go to DEX. He can directly install rebug 4.70.01 REX edition because he's already on a CEX firmware. He also doesn't need to qa flag because that's probably enabled by default and is pretty much only needed when downgrading.

I think he wants to switch to DEX to use sprx menus... Sprxs run better on dex

so there is no need in downgrading to 3.55 using rogero downgrader then 3.55 ofw and then rebug??..., all i do is remove spoofer and install update pup via usb? :-/ im ok on cex for now, what about the dump thing too dont i need to dump some shit? lol

im using flocks rpf with extortion sprx it seems ok for me tbh, i have freezed a few times but i was spawning loads of stuff so it was expected i think lol I want something a little more stable though and that loads sprx without having to use prx loader on every boot up, cobra i think it is im not sure :-/

No. Just remove the spoofer, make sure there's no disc in your PS3, and then install 4.70.01 Rebug REX Edition and only REX Edition straight through. You don't need to go back to 3.55 if you're installing another CEX firmware greater than 4.50 or 4.65 or whatever you're on.
