I wanted to know if there is any way to downgrade to 3.55 without any soldering. I have looked at the E3 Flasher and Progskeet but i'm not really sure if I want to buy it. Would there be any way for me to connect my PS3 to my PC to downgrade? I also don't want to use a ESATA stand to downgrade. I would appreciate any help.

You will need to downgrade with a E3 flasher, I thought there was another method but ain't sure about that.

You can also buy a ready PS3 on OFW 3.55

Just send your PS3 in for someone to downgrade it for you on EBAY or somewhere else.

Teensy is the most versatile solution as it will flash ALL consoles that can be flashed.

Requires soldering if you cant get the TSOP clips, while the E3 comes with a clip, but will only flash NOR consoles.
