My issue: I want to know which CFW and tools are best for game modding. Currently have a CECHA01 with OFW 3.41 that has been QA flagged.
How the issue occurred: N/A, just want to make sure I don't brick my PS3 and I can find tools which are not extremely hard to use/unreliable
I have tried to fix my issue with: Looking up information on various sites, but I can't find what I'm looking for. Alot of stuff is 4-5 years old with broken links and images and outdated. I also want to get advice from people who are more experienced.

Here is some more info. I play a game called Armored Core: Verdict Day for PS3. The game is pretty rad but its pretty dead online so finding people is a pain in the but. Plus the games built for team battles, and me and my pal just play each other which sucks cause the balance is trash cause you can build a unit that can destroy another unit in a few seconds (dumb y'know?). What I want to do is mod the game so I can change stat values like frames and weapons.

If I can I want to do super advanced stuff like add new maps and parts, but if I can't do that at least I want to be able to modify stat values.

The servers for the game are still up so we'll be playing offline, system link/LAN if we can, or add LAN ability if you can mod that in lol.

I'd like experienced people to point me in the right direction
