But after I enable PSN Patch and PSN Ninja and try to login, it keeps giving me error 8002a224. I have looked around, and many tutorials I've watched say use PS3ITA but when I open it all I get is a black screen. Can someone help me with a detailed explanation on what I need to do?

ps3ita manager does not support 4.70 cfw anyways you have to go into rebug toolbox and switch your id to CEX.

try restarting your ps3 and launch rebug toolbox first. once launched go to Utilities and Change Active PS3ID to EID5:85(CEX) and go out to XMB.(if you turn off or restart your PS3 you will need repeat step from UTILITIES). This will let you get online with DEX. do psnpatch and stuff after this.
