It is not as simple as you think. You need to downgrade the PS3 to 3.55 OFW. The only way to do this is with an E3 Flasher. If you are new to the jailbreak/modding scene, I would recommend you buy a 3.55 OFW PS3 or a pre-jailbroken one. If you have any more questions, just reply and I would be glad to help Smile

You can't jailbreak a console on any firmware but 3.55. The only way to go back to that is downgrade your console with an e3 flasher which is a piece of hardware. Also not every model is downgradable.

Also E3 flashes cost around $100, so at that price i recommend just purchasing a CFW PS3 for around the $200 mark so then you will not have to jailbreak it yourself.

It's without the eSATA station but you don't really need for JB. I did mine without (";")

You don't need an esata station that's for dual booting cfw and ofw.

Because you are new to ps3 modding, i recommend finding a ps3 downgrade service close to you opposed to buying an e3 flasher. If you don't know what you are doing things will go south quick.
