I know it is a DEX PS3 but that is it. I am not sure what region it is or how to install anything. After the new update of GTA 5 I now cannot load the game.

How the issue occurred: I just updated GTA 5 that was installed on my PS3 and when I go to play it sends me back to the PS3 menu screen.

I have tried to fix my issue with: I was told I need to install an EBOOT in a specific folder but as I said before I don't know what region I am in or even how to install it properly. I downloaded all the files for the BLUS region from You must login or register to view this content. and put them on my flash drive. When I loaded it onto my PS3 the only file that came up in mmCM install package file is "EP1004-bles01807_00-GTAVTITLEUPDATER". I installed that and still cannot get onto GTA 5.

If anyone could help me out and help me through this, that would be amazing. Sorry for being such a idiot at this stuff. When I bought the PS3 I was told I would be trained on how to do these things but once I got it, I was told that the person who sold it to me was too busy. I even paid extra for the "help" and have not been reimbursed.
