(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Would it be safe to update a game without using the .pkg method? What I mean like if you load up a game and it asks you to update is it safe to do that on CFW? Thanks,

They can't do that. The only way is if you do a System Update via Internet.

Of course, pkg method is usually for those that doesn't have internet. I never upgraded any games using "PKG" unless the game couldn't load at all for me, and had cfw block Smile

Sometimes it just doesn't work when updating it by the game so people use the pkg file. Your ps3 won't switch to ofw by doing that.
