However now, I wish to convert to DEX so I can try out the awesomeness of sprx mods. Converting to dex on 4.46 is a long process I think and it is much easier doing so on 4.70 rebug, so I was wandering if I can directly update 4.70 rebug? One video which I have watched says to go back to 3.55 but is this really needed? I also have another query which is, does going online on a 4.70 rebug dex firmware increase my chances of getting a psn ban?

if you are on 4.46 cex you can go directly to 4.70 cex, then convert from there and it indeed is a lot easier as you don't need orginal eid root or flash to do it - just a few settings to change and done!

What do you think is better for me, ITA or rebug? I want to use sprx mods online. And is there a way I can update to 4.50 ITA from my current firmware? Is ITA safer online?

I would go with ITA, it's the best one in my opinion. And no cfw is safer than any others :p
