installing any hard drive into any ps3 will always format it therfore deleting the jailbreak plus all of the data.. Also if you thought this would jailbreak your ps3 that won't work cause your ps3 nand/nor flash data knows you aren't on cfw and won't ever think that unless changed with a e3 flasher or other device

Will you please do your research before answering questions Connor as what you said is completely wrong. Now Chance, you can buy a new hard drive all you would have to do is reinstall 3.55 ofw after you've installed the new hard drive, then you'll be ok to jailbreak again if you have any questions just pm me or quote this post and I'll be happy to help.
