If it was updated to 3.55 OFW, then you can just update to 3.55 CFW and QA Flag and go to any CFW you want. If it was 3.56+, you need to take it apart and do the flashing.

Are you able to play online? If you are, then you MUST be on 4.75 OFW. That means you have to downgrade to jailbreak it. I would recommend you downgrade it again if you know how to use an E3 Flasher or you can stay on OFW if you would like. But OFW is boring
