Whenever I put Modern Warfare 2 into my PS3(jailbroken rebug 4.46), the inital animated logos begin to play as normal on startup, but then they stop, the screen turns black and I am returned to the main Playstation menu. Other games that I play like Motorstorm, Assassin's Creed and Modern Warfare 3 all work perfectly.

The games load as they should when the PS3 has no internet connection, but when I plug it back in to play online, the game returns to the main menu screen once again or crashes altogether.
I have tried reseting the router and restarting my ps3 a couple times but this didnt work eiher...
I also tried using a debug eboot but that didnt work either
I have no idea what the cause of this problem could be, and it isn't one I have seen elsewhere when searching the internet for solutions, so I eagerly await some responses that could help me fix it.

Go to debug settings and then go to Boot mode and put it in Release mode. Or you could try copying it to your hdd using multiman and once copied head in to game settings and toggle BD Mirror and Internal (external if you copy it to a usb device or ehdd). This should resolve your issue.

I tried doing it in to release mode but that didnt work, what should I copy to hdd? The strange thing is I never had this problem before when I played mw2 but that was a year ago.

Go in to multiman hover over mw2 and hit triangle and the copy. Simple as that
